Alozaina is typically Andalucian, with its' beautiful streets of whitewashed houses adorned with flowers. In 1977, Alozaina was declared the prettiest village in Spain. From the remains of Alozaina's arabic castle, you can enjoy panoramic views down the Guadalhorce Valley to Malaga and the Mediterranean Sea. To the north, the village is backed by the Sierra Prieta with its' spectacular mountainous terrain. Alozaina is located within the Sierra de las Nieves natural park, declared by UNESCO as a biosphere reserve. The village has approximately 2,200 inhabitants. Alozaina offers the best of Andalucia. |
